Pheromones - Science or Fantasy? And Where Can You Buy Them?
By Kathy Steinemann

Yes, that is the correct spelling (not 'pheremones', as you often see when cruising the web). Why is there so much excitement about pheromones? Do they actually work? Where do you find pheromone products? Read this article for some insight. Yes, that is the correct spelling (not 'pheremones', as you often see when cruising the web). The dictionary definition of pheromone is: A chemical secreted by an animal, especially an insect, that influences the behavior or development of others of the same species, often functioning as an attractant of the opposite sex. So, why all the excitement about pheromones? Although some scientists do not agree, research would seem to indicate that humans can also respond to pheromones - just like insects. Many pheromone-based products have been manufactured to capitalize on this fact. There are different formulations for females and males, of course. (Here is where it might get tricky. If you are a female seeking a female, which pheromone product would you use?) Interestingly, underarm sweat contains pheromones, but we go to great lengths to cover up the odor. There are many wonderful pheromone-based perfumes, aftershave lotions, body rubs, and other similar products available. Do a search for 'purchase pheromones online' and you will find thousands of Internet sites. If you are going to wear perfume or aftershave anyway, and you are planning a romantic getaway, why not wear a pheromone product? If it works, great. If all it does is to boost your self-confidence level - great, too! By the way, there is research to indicate that wearing subtle pheromone products during a job interview might be beneficial. Hmmm ... could there be advantages in other situations as well? Perhaps getting a better deal from a car salesman? Likeable people get the best service in most situations. Whatever you do in life, pheromones or not, remember that a smile accompanied by a confident attitude will increase your 'attractiveness quotient'!
